About the Role
First Abu Dhabi Bank seeks an Audit Specialist to participate in audits of Operations & Support Functions across the FAB Group. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 2-4 years of relevant experience in an international bank or Big 4.

Responsibilities
- Assist in auditing FAB Group’s Operations & Support Functions in UAE and international network
- Ensure audits are conducted per Annual Plan and complete work program efficiently
- Promote knowledge sharing and support team objectives
- Assist in monitoring financial performance and reporting variances
- Execute audits per GIA policies and provide input to development of practices
- Review activities of Units to define and maintain Audit Universe
- Assist in preparing Risk Assessments and maintaining audit programs
- Conduct audits and assess governance, risk management, and control procedures
- Draft audit worksheets and issues
- Assist in finalizing issues and negotiating Management Action Plans
- Maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders
- Provide ongoing consultancy/advice to Unit management on governance and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited university
- 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience with an International Bank or Big 4
- Working knowledge of Operations & Support Functions activities and processes and associated risks
- Working knowledge of bank and audit policies and procedures, as well as Central Bank regulations
- Good analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Summary / Introduction
- Participate in audits covering Operations & Support Functions across FAB Group.
- Thorough understanding of business, control dynamics, risk management, and regulatory environment in UAE and other jurisdictions.
- Provide assistance to supervisors and perform audit activities per established plans and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in auditing FAB Group’s Operations & Support Functions in UAE and international network.
