About the Role
We are seeking a Specialist Anaesthesiologist to administer anesthesia, manage ICU patients, and supervise junior staff. Candidates must have an MBBS, MD in Anesthesiology, DHA license, and at least 3 years of experience.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree
- Post graduate degree in Anesthesia (MD Anesthesiology) or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in anesthesiology
- Current license in country of origin with Specialist Anesthesiologist DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E.
- Valid ACLS license
- Excellent command of oral and written English

Job Overview
- Administers Anesthesia to patients during Surgical and other medical procedures and is responsible for certain areas of administration under the general direction of the Chief Anesthesiologist.
Responsibilities
- To conduct anesthesia for routine and emergency surgical patients resuscitate as a team member and manage critically ill ventilated ICU patients
- To conduct assessment & re assessment for all patients in the OPD, on admission, and prior to any procedure
- Provides anesthesia with the full range of anesthetic agents
- Provides technical advice and guidance to nursing staff, other specialists and registrars
- Interviews patients scheduled for surgery to assess and develop an anesthesia care plan
- Manage patients during sedation and during the period of actual recovery from sedation
- Sees patients post operatively to evaluate recovery from anesthesia
- Supervises and maintains appropriate documentation on controlled drugs
- Organize a suitable call schedule to provide a satisfactory anesthetic service
- Organize and direct Q.I. activities of this division
- Assists Chief Anesthesiologist in supervising the day to day anesthetic work
- Takes active part in the teaching of junior anesthesiologists and other nursing staff
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree
- Post graduate degree in Anesthesia (MD Anesthesiology) or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in anesthesiology
- Comprehensive knowledge of safe use of all general anesthetic agents, techniques and methods
- Ability in the absence of the Chief Anesthesiologist, to provide on site assessment of personnel, equipment and overall anesthesia environment
- Has high standard of professionalism
- Current license in country of origin with Specialist Anesthesiologist DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E.
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential
- Valid ACLS license is a must
- Ability to work in cordial conditions in group practice in a hospital set up
