Job Purpose

  • Jobs at this level are responsible for overseeing and managing the Special Bids function within the High Potential Portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Participates in the development and implementation of the High Potential Portfolio plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
  • Directs and manages the Special Bids mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Interprets and implements change in the Special Bids function, providing guidance and support necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards within the Special Bids function.
  • Bid Management: Develop bid strategies, annual business plans, and budgets for standard and complex deals, including structuring deals, compiling business cases, and responding to RfPs.
  • Lead the development of technical and commercial proposals for the Sales Verticals & Giga opportunities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the assessment of RfPs or OpEx contract requests.
  • Receive new RfPs for the sales and Giga verticals.
  • Provide governance guidelines and ecosystem support for cost estimation activities during bid management and proposal development.
  • Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to review and approve business cases.
  • Lead the Bid Team's participation in the vendor selection process, collaborating with Shared Services and stc technology units to identify and recommend the best vendor(s) for each bid.
  • Drive commercial proposal development activities in coordination with related sectors.

  • 6 8 years of experience

Nature Of Experience

  • Prior experience in sales and business development within the telecommunications or technology industry.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, best practices, and business development within the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools.
  • Ability to develop and implement digital sales strategies.
  • Experience in leading and managing digital transformation projects.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Sales

Certifications

  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Certified Sales Manager (CSM)
  • Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE)
