Job Purpose
- The role holder is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential investments that align with the Group’s strategic priorities and value creation goals. Also, assess the viability and growth potential of investee companies, including risk exposure and fit with Group objectives.
Job Responsibility
- Actively source investment opportunities by networking with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
- Identify and evaluate potential investments that align with the Group’s strategic priorities and value creation goals.
- Conduct financial analysis of target companies, including historical performance, projections, and funding needs.
- Develop financial models and valuations to assess appropriate investment pricing and expected returns.
- Assess the viability and growth potential of investee companies, including risk exposure and fit with Group objectives.
- Lead comprehensive due diligence, coordinating internal and external experts to evaluate financial, legal, and operational aspects.
- Prepare investment thesis documents outlining rationale, risks, strategic value and potential returns.
- Lead the negotiation and structuring of investment deals to maximize financial returns and strategic alignment.
- Present investment proposals to the investment committee, address concerns, and secure necessary approvals.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with investment policy, governance models, and regulatory requirements.
