Operations

• Perform spa treatments as scheduled to a high standard of safety and effectiveness respecting the level and description supplied.
• Ensure safe, effective and enjoyable treatments for all Guests at the Spa.
• Use appropriate Spa music style/ vocals in accordance with the treatment descriptions previously decided upon.
• Know all the services offered by the Spa and contribute to guest retention and growth by promoting all Spa services and by interacting with the guest/ s in an intelligent, tactful and friendly manner.
• Be able to recognize opportunities and refer/ recommend home care to each guest and or other services provided by the guest.
• Record and complete all procedural documentation on a timely basis.
• Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all the items are available e.g. towels, candles, oils.
• Ensure that all storage areas are kept in a tidy and organized condition and that all Spa equipment, items and products are replaced according to guidelines.
• Immediately report any faulty equipment to the person responsible.
• Perform duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the Guests, adhering to start and finish times.
• Observe high standards of personal hygiene and always portray a professional image.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
• Comply with the environmental, health and safety policies and procedures of the Spa.

About The Role

• High School Qualification with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related work experience

Essential

• CIBTAC and CIDESCO beauty therapy qualifications or equivalent internationally recognized Beauty therapist diploma.
• Command of English language both written and spoken

Preferred

• Previous experience in the same position within a 5-star Resort/ Hotel or day Spa.
• Experienced and skillful in the following: Body Anatomy and Physiology, Human biology, Chemistry, Hygiene, Facial treatments, basic and advanced massage techniques, Manicure and pedicure, Body treatments, Waxing service, Galvanic body and face treatments.
• Working knowledge and experience with top Spa brands.
• Able to apply concepts of Massages, Facials, Body Wraps, Body Scrubs, Manicure, Pedicure and Waxing
