Responsibilities
- Act as a hotel ambassador at all times
- Carry out additional duties requested by management related to hotel operations
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as taught by Spa Treatments Manager
- Keep work area clean, neat and hygienic at all times
- Ensure high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa
- Assist in operations of all spa & wellness department areas
- Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment rooms
- Assist and perform various demonstrations and events
- Arrive 15 minutes before shift to prepare
- Perform all treatments to highest standards on guests
- Be on time for appointments and review appointments before and after each treatment
- Courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions
Requirements
- Senior School qualification or equivalent
- Beauty School graduate preferred
- CIBTAC/CIDESCO qualifications an advantage
- Minimum 2 years experience as Spa Therapist/Beautician
- Previous experience in 5 star hotel environment an advantage
- Previous experience in Middle East Region an advantage
- Good knowledge of computer systems an advantage
- Clear communication and effective verbal and written English
- Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to organize multiple tasks
- Mature and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills

- Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is looking for a Spa Therapist to join our Spa Team.
- Mandarin Oriental is an award winning owner and operator of luxury hotels, resorts and residences.
As a Spa Therapist, You Will Be Responsible For
- Act as a hotel ambassador at all times.
- Carry out any additional duties requested by management related to hotel operational activities.
- Follow all Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) as taught by Spa Treatments Manager.
- Keep work area clean, neat and hygienic at all times.
- Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa.
- Assist in the operations of all spa & wellness department as required: Spa Treatment Rooms, Spa Reception, Spa Retail, Spa Pantry, Lounges.
- Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in spa treatment rooms throughout your shift.
- Assist and perform various demonstrations and events.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the start of your shift to prepare.
- Perform as a professional with a friendly business attitude.
- Perform all treatments to the highest standards on guests whilst maintaining guest comfort.
- Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments before and after each treatment.
As a Spa Therapist, We Expect From You
- Senior School qualification or equivalent is a must.
- Beauty School graduate will be preferable.
- CIBTAC/CIDESCO qualifications will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 year of experience working as a Spa Therapist/Beautician.
- Previous experience working in a 5 star hotel environment will be an advantage.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East Region is an advantage.
- Good knowledge on computer systems will be an advantage.
- Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service.
