Position Overview
A VIP family in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sous Chef to join its culinary team.
The role supports a private household kitchen and includes refined cuisine, customized meals, private dinners, and VVIP guest requirements.
Salary and Accommodation
- The salary is AED 15,000 per month.
- Separate studio accommodation is provided.
Kitchen Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff when required.
- Prepare high-quality refined cuisine and execute menus to exceptional standards of taste and presentation.
- Assist with menu preparation, customized meals, private dinners, special occasions, and VVIP guest requirements.
- Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and stock levels and ensure proper food storage and handling.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and family preferences.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, sanitation, and a clean, organized, professional kitchen.
- Maintain complete confidentiality and follow VVIP household protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary position.
- Strong background in five-star hotels, fine dining, luxury restaurants, or private households.
- Strong knowledge of international and refined cuisine.
- Excellent cooking, plating, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Professional, discreet, flexible, and well-presented manner.
- Ability to work in a high-standard private household environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Private household or royal household experience is highly advantageous.
- Candidates based outside the UAE/GCC are preferred.
- Candidates with no previous GCC experience are preferred.
