- Manage all related sourcing document requirements for RFQ's including volume requirements, MOQs and technical specifications.
- Provide strategic analysis of products to define comprehensive forward planning of RFQ's and ensure compliance to procedures.
- Develop and manage sourcing process, including publishing plans for all categories and improving department policies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with supplier network to maximize supply chain benefits.
- Examine and source new suppliers meeting QR quality, logistics and volume requirements.
- Conduct analysis and lead evaluation of potential suppliers, supporting vendor qualification process.
- Develop approved innovative products to diversify and enhance on board food service.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure supply base has robust process controls.
- Own and deliver specific project related activities such as make vs. buy spend analysis.
- Plan yearly exhibition/tradeshow calendar and attend events to identify cost, quality and delivery opportunities.
- Analyze and present periodic market trends insights to senior management.
- Reduce out of stock/no deliveries by establishing a back up supplier network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years of job related experience
- Exposure to Middle East food sourcing market experience
- Experience in Airline Catering/Large Food service catering organization
- Sourcing management experience in food and beverage in international markets
- Strong negotiation experience with suppliers
- Fluent command of English and at least one other language (preferably Arabic)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under pressure
- Numeracy and ability to present data clearly and accurately
- People management skills
- Contractual and financial acumen
- CIPS Qualification or equivalent in Purchasing/Commerce

About the role
- We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sourcing Manager (Food & Non Food) to join our team at Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC).
- You will support Supply Chain strategy by identifying, evaluating and assessing new and existing products and suppliers.
- You will develop the sourcing process, plan the yearly exhibition/tradeshow calendar, introduce new market trends and work with stakeholders to support QR group's growing demands.
Responsibilities

- Provide strategic analysis of products as requested by end user to define comprehensive forward planning of RFQ's.
- Develop and manage sourcing process by working with Supply Chain to develop and publish plans for all categories.
- Maintain strong working relationships with network of suppliers to ensure QACC realizes maximum benefit from supply chain.
- Examine and source new suppliers capable of providing products that meet QR quality, logistics and volume requirements.
- Conduct analysis and lead evaluation of potential suppliers and support the overall vendor qualification process.
- Develop approved innovative products to diversify and enhance on board food service and experience for customers.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure the supply base has robust process controls and capabilities.
- Own and deliver specific project related activities as agreed with senior manager e.g. make vs. buy spend analysis.

About You
