About the Role
NMC Health plc is hiring a Sonographer to perform diagnostic sonography examinations under the delegated authority of a supervising Radiologist. The role requires a DOH license in Abu Dhabi and at least three years of experience in a Radiology department.

Responsibilities
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for sonography examinations
- Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information
- Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform sonography examinations
- Apply independent judgment to capture appropriate anatomical and pathological images
- Acquire additional images as necessary for optimum diagnostic results
- Review examination images and prepare preliminary findings
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform advanced sonography services as delegated
- Assist with daily operation of the sonography facility
- Perform quality control procedures on ultrasound equipment
- Document incidental findings that may impact patient safety
Requirements
- Current license in country of origin and DOH License to practice in Abu Dhabi
- Minimum three years' experience in Radiology department
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Proficient in MS Office and internet skills
- Ability to apply technical skills and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics
- Self motivation and ability to work under pressure
- Team working ability and good time management

Responsibilities

- Ensure sonography examination order is complete
- Evaluate contraindications and patient preparation
- Communicate with patient appropriately
- Use proper positioning and scanning techniques
- Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform sonography examination
- Apply independent judgment to capture appropriate images
- Acquire additional images as necessary
- Identify and document limitations
- Review images and prepare preliminary findings
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Current license in country of origin and DOH License in Abu Dhabi
- Minimum three years' experience in Radiology department
- Ability to apply technical skills and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics
- Self motivation and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Arabic language advantageous but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office and internet skills
- Supportive and caring disposition, adaptability, good time management
- Team working ability
- Confidence in dealing with stressful situations
