Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary technical authority and strategic advisor for customers in the Middle East
- Lead the full technical sales cycle – from discovery and solution design to proof of value and deal closure
- Drive revenue growth through superior solution design, competitive positioning, and high impact trials
- Lead discovery sessions to architect comprehensive solutions addressing customer threats and compliance
- Deliver compelling demonstrations and workshops to differentiate Cisco’s portfolio
- Establish thought leadership by translating emerging security trends into actionable customer value
- Collaborate across functions to integrate identity security solutions with broader networking portfolios
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or similar role, managing technical and business relationships with complex global organizations
- Working knowledge of the Identity and IAM ecosystem
- Ability to closely collaborate with sales and customer facing teams
- Extensive experience working with customers across the Middle East region of EMEA
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Strong business acumen connecting technical solutions to business outcomes and ROI
- Consultative selling approach with proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships

- You will be a Solution Sales Engineer specializing in Identity Security and IAM within the EMEA region, serving as a primary technical authority and strategic advisor for customers in the Middle East.
Your Impact
- As a Sales Solutions Engineer at Cisco, you will be a technical authority who directly influences high value investments.
- You will own the technical win strategy, driving revenue growth through superior solution design, competitive positioning, and the execution of high impact trials.
- Lead complex sales cycles and secure technical wins to expand Cisco’s security footprint within key accounts across the Middle East.
- Lead discovery sessions to architect comprehensive solutions that address specific customer threats and compliance requirements.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations and workshops to differentiate Cisco’s portfolio.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader by translating emerging security trends into actionable customer value.
- Foster a 'One Cisco' approach, collaborating across functions to integrate identity security solutions with broader networking portfolios.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of the Identity and IAM ecosystem.
- Ability to closely collaborate with sales and customer facing teams.
- Extensive experience working with customers across the Middle East region of EMEA.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen connecting technical solutions to business outcomes and ROI.
- Consultative selling approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with how security, networking, and identity engineers design, implement, integrate, manage, and support these platforms.
- Extensive experience across multiple customer segments with knowledge of Cisco Secure Networking solutions including Duo, Multicloud Defense, Secure Access, SD WAN/SASE, and AI Security/Agentic AI.
- Experience with different Identity and directory vendors and their products (Cisco Duo, Microsoft Entra, Okta, Ping, CyberArk, SailPoint etc.).
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Cisco CCIE/CCNP, ISC2, or other industry standard certification in Security or Networking.
