Role Overview
The Microsoft Innovation Hub helps customers address business challenges through engagements that combine multiple areas of expertise.
The Solution Engineer combines business and technical requirements to create comprehensive AI and cloud solutions.
The role includes customer discovery, strategic recommendations, solution implementation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver strategy sessions, envisioning workshops, architecture design sessions, and rapid prototypes for customers.
- Lead AI transformation journeys, prioritize use cases, and advise on AI platform and technology trends.
- Own strategic AI transformation initiatives for targeted accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Design scalable, secure, and performance-optimized architectures based on customer requirements.
- Integrate capabilities across cloud platforms and identify opportunities for cross-solution AI transformation.
- Build expertise in AI Foundry, Fabric Data platform, AI management and security, real-time intelligence, and application architecture.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 5+ years of experience.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise Architect experience with large-scale, complex solutions.
- Consultancy experience providing strategic customer guidance.
- Experience with requirements capture, prioritization, business-value analysis, and risk identification.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying AI solutions across cloud or hybrid infrastructures.
- Knowledge of networking, migrations, industry standards, and AI-related Azure services.
- Relevant technology or discipline certification.
- Experience delivering design thinking, ideation, or problem-framing activities.
