What you will do
- Write code for Android applications and contribute to backend microservices.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and develop high-quality customer deliverables.
- Take responsibility for software engineering from design and implementation through development experience, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work alongside engineering groups around the world and release production code frequently.
Technology and engineering approach
- The technology stack includes Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Cursor, and GraphQL.
- The modular architecture follows clean-architecture concepts with MVVM.
- The role involves Android-focused full-stack work and reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
Skills and experience
- At least three years of commercial software development experience solving varied technical problems.
- Experience developing an Android app and experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- A global-first mindset, willingness to learn new technologies, problem-solving ability, strong communication, and ownership.
- Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
