Role Overview

Work Model

• The role is open to candidates within a generally one- to two-hour commute of the Oxford or London office hubs.
• The team uses a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings for connection, planning, and key moments.
• Employees may join on-site as often as they like in select locations.

What You Will Do

• Write code focused primarily on Android application development.
• Work across application code and have opportunities to contribute to backend microservices.
• Collaborate with product and design teams on feature specifications and high-quality customer deliverables.
• Own software engineering from design and implementation through QA, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work alongside engineering groups located around the world.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience developing an Android app.
• At least five years of commercial software development experience solving different kinds of technical problems.
• Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
• Willingness and ability to take on new technologies.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• A strong sense of ownership and pride in work.
