About the Role
Software Engineers in Dubai will build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code to help train AI systems to understand and generate software.
The role involves writing solutions, reviewing AI outputs, and providing expert feedback to improve coding assistants.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.
What You Will Do
- Write, debug, and optimize code across languages, frameworks, and problem domains.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
- Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on technical decisions and code quality.
- Design coding prompts and edge cases to stress-test AI capabilities.
- Compare and rank AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Who You Are
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Ability to read, write, and reason about code clearly and precisely.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a systematic debugging approach.
- Clear written communication and ability to explain technical decisions in plain language.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience across multiple languages or technology stacks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or prompt engineering.
- Background in code review, technical writing, or mentoring junior developers.
- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, or distributed systems.
- Competitive programming, open-source contributions, or side projects demonstrating engineering ability.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- The position is an hourly contract role.
- The expected commitment is 10-40 hours per week.
