Role Overview
Alignerr is seeking an Arabic language expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Arabic-language content.
The work supports accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate communication for Arabic speakers.
Engagement Details
- The engagement is an hourly contract.
- The expected commitment is 10–40 hours per week.
Workplace
- The role is fully remote.
- Work is completed independently and asynchronously on the worker's own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated Arabic content for linguistic accuracy, tone, and register.
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, and cultural mismatches.
- Suggest improvements for natural and idiomatic Arabic usage.
- Provide structured feedback on localization quality and cultural relevance.
Required Profile
- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic.
- Strong written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Deep understanding of Arabic cultural norms and linguistic conventions.
- Comfort evaluating written language quality at scale.
- Attention to detail and consistency.
- No prior AI experience is required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with regional Arabic variants, including Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, or Maghrebi Arabic, is a plus.
- A background in translation, localization, or editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows is a plus.
