Role overview
Check Point is hiring a Software Developer - Cloudinfra Back-End Engineer for its Cloudinfra R&D group.
The team builds server-side infrastructure in NodeJS for Check Point's Infinity Portal.
The role contributes to cloud security products and collaborates with engineering, QA, business, and customer teams.
Role responsibilities
- Design and build new solutions and features that help customers improve their cloud security.
- Build server-side infrastructure in NodeJS as part of Check Point's Infinity Portal.
- Develop challenging solutions using new technologies and programming languages.
- Continuously improve existing implementations.
- Take on additional responsibilities and own a defined share of the product.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, other teams, QA engineers, and customers.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and its managed services, including ECS or EKS.
- At least 3 years of programming experience using NodeJS and an additional high-level programming language.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, SQS, and Kafka.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
