SOFT SERVICES TEAM LEADER

Job Purpose

Team Supervision

• Lead cleaners, housekeeping staff, and other soft services personnel.
• Allocate duties and ensure assigned tasks are completed correctly and on time.
• Provide basic on-the-job guidance and training to cleaners and new team members.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, uniforms, discipline, and work performance.

Cleaning Operations

• Inspect offices, common areas, washrooms, corridors, external areas, and other assigned locations.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards according to cleaning schedules.
• Support special cleaning activities, events, deep cleaning, and other operational requirements.
• Maintain daily checklists and basic operational records.

Safety and Materials

• Monitor the correct use, storage, labelling, handling, and safety of cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Monitor cleaning materials and consumables and report stock requirements.
• Ensure waste collection, segregation, and disposal procedures are followed.
• Report maintenance defects, safety hazards, damage, and other facility issues.

Coordination and Service

• Attend cleaning-related complaints and service requests and ensure timely action.
• Coordinate with the Soft Services Supervisor and other facilities management teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOBH Group HSE policies, hygiene requirements, and safe working procedures.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities management soft services.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Senior Cleaner is preferred.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards.
• Basic understanding of HSE and safe chemical handling procedures.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,300–AED 3,500 per month.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person across assigned SOBH Group facilities.
