Role Overview
Lead and coordinate daily civil maintenance and repair activities across company properties and facilities.
Ensure civil works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to required quality and company standards.
Reports to the Hard Services Supervisor or FM Engineer within the Facilities Management department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise carpenters, masons, painters, helpers, and other civil maintenance personnel.
- Carry out and supervise preventive, corrective, and reactive civil maintenance works.
- Inspect buildings and facilities, identify defects, and recommend repair or rectification methods.
- Supervise masonry, plastering, blockwork, tiling, painting, waterproofing, carpentry, ceiling, gypsum, and minor concrete repairs.
- Monitor repairs to doors, windows, locks, flooring, walls, ceilings, and other building finishes.
- Manage work orders, quality verification, material estimates, tool control, and maintenance records.
- Monitor team attendance, productivity, discipline, uniform, and performance.
- Conduct toolbox talks, provide on-the-job guidance, and enforce HSE and permit-to-work procedures.
- Coordinate with MEP, Soft Services, contractors, and specialist providers when civil works affect other services.
