The Soft Service Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Operations team at UAE - Integrated Facility Management, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality soft services across client sites in Abu Dhabi.
This position focuses on coordinating service activities, monitoring performance, and promoting a customer-centric approach to facility management.
The supervisor will foster collaboration, uphold operational standards, and contribute to a supportive and proactive services environment.
Roles, Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and oversee daily soft services operations including cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and concierge services to meet client requirements and contract specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure integrated facility management solutions are implemented effectively.
- Monitor and review preventive maintenance schedules related to soft services equipment and systems, including HVAC, BMS, and CCTV controls as applicable.
- Apply energy management and waste management principles to promote sustainability and efficiency within service delivery.
- Utilize CAD interpretation skills to understand site layouts and optimize resource allocation for service tasks.
- Ensure that customer focus remains at the forefront of all activities, addressing client concerns promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, facilitating transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive teamwork and engagement by encouraging a culture of collaboration, support, and shared responsibility among service personnel.
- Prepare and present reports on service performance, compliance checks, and operational issues to senior management.
Qualification
Applicants should possess a minimum of a diploma or equivalent qualification in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A technical background, including knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and CCTV system control, is highly advantageous.
Certification or training in energy management, waste management systems, and preventive maintenance scheduling will be considered a strong asset.
Proficiency in CAD reading and interpretation is beneficial for understanding facility layouts and planning service activities.
Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Proficiency in IT and basic data management tools is necessary to support operational reporting and service monitoring.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards relevant to facility management.
Experience & Skills
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in supervising soft services within an integrated facility management environment, ideally within the Abu Dhabi region or similar markets.
Key competencies include strong leadership abilities to manage diverse teams, sound knowledge of energy and waste management practices, and practical skills in CAD interpretation to efficiently allocate resources.
Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling and operational controls related to HVAC, BMS, and CCTV systems will enhance performance in this role.
The candidate must be action-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.
Additional skills include fluency in technology and data handling at a foundational level, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to ensure accountability among service teams.
Demonstrated teamwork, effective communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential for fostering a positive workplace culture.
