- In depth understanding of UAE HSE legislation, standards, and guidelines
- 5+ years of experience in managing health, safety, and environmental programs within construction or landscaping sectors
- Strong leadership abilities to influence teams and foster a safety first mindset
- Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English

Job Purpose
- The Project HSE Manager at Basatin Landscaping will lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives for projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a culture of safety across all operations.
Roles, Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor project specific HSE policies and procedures aligning with national laws and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing effective preventive measures.
- Coordinate HSE training programs to enhance workforce awareness and competency.
- Collaborate with project management for integrating HSE considerations into project planning and execution phases.

Qualification
- Successful candidates will hold a relevant bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional HSE qualifications are required.
- In depth understanding of UAE HSE legislation, standards, and guidelines is essential.
- Knowledge of landscaping project environments and associated risks will be highly regarded.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership abilities to influence teams and foster a safety first mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
