Role overview

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a compassionate Social Worker for its supportive, inclusive, and growing school environment.

The position supports students from FS1 to Year 13 and is scheduled to start in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Promote students' academic success, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
  • Provide assessment, intervention, and family support services.
  • Strengthen collaboration between the school and students' homes.
  • Help families access community resources.
  • Address social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting learning, attendance, and wellbeing.
  • Work with students, families, teachers, and external agencies.
  • Support safe, supportive, and nurturing home environments for students.
  • Advance the school's safeguarding, inclusion, and student-centred practice.

Role requirements

  • Ability to support students from FS1 to Year 13 across academic, emotional, and social development needs.
  • Ability to provide assessment, intervention, and family support in a school environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with families, educators, students, and external agencies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student-centred practice.

School environment

  • The role is based within Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island.
