About the Role

Teach secondary Performing Arts with a specialization in Music and Drama in an international school environment.

Deliver the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Level, International Baccalaureate, and BTEC programmes.

Challenge students to set ambitious targets and use innovative teaching practices to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create a classroom culture where students are encouraged to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community.
  • Share best practice with colleagues and peers.
  • Contribute to a safe, happy, inclusive, and safeguarding-focused environment for pupils.

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree in the specialist subject.
  • Hold a teaching qualification.
  • Have considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and motivation to engage students and parents.
  • Be receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change.
  • Meet UAE visa-related requirements.

Vetting and Safeguarding

  • Regulated-activity post holders are subject to national and international vetting procedures.
  • Satisfactory criminal record checks are required from relevant countries of residence and birth.
