- Build and maintain weekly and monthly social content calendars aligned with product launches and campaigns
- Recommend content formats and platform specific strategies to maximize performance
- Contribute creative ideas during planning, including content formats and trends for video first channels
- Work closely with video editors and graphic designers, providing feedback to ensure engaging content
- Partner with Analytics team to review content performance and identify trends
- Lead optimization of video formats (titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, lengths, hooks) tailored to platform algorithms
- Liaise with Marketing, Creative, and PR to ensure content plans support wider campaigns
- Drive A/B testing of formats to refine performance strategies
Requirements
- Strong understanding of YouTube and Snapchat ecosystems, including algorithms and best practices
- Experience with video optimization techniques (metadata, thumbnails, content formatting)
- Comfortable working with data and analytics to extract insights
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to influence creative and marketing teams
- Passion for beauty, social storytelling, and video first platforms
- 5+ years of experience in content planning, channel management, or digital media, ideally with a focus on video

- The Social Media Specialist will plan, coordinate, and optimize social content across all platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly social content calendars, ensuring alignment with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments.
- Recommend content formats and platform specific strategies to maximize performance.
- Contribute creative ideas during planning, including content formats and trends specific to video first channels.
- Work closely with video editors and graphic designers, providing feedback throughout the creative process.
- Partner with Analytics team to review content performance, identify trends, and test new approaches.
- Lead optimization of video formats (titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, lengths, hooks) tailored to platform algorithms.
- Liaise with Marketing, Creative, and PR to ensure content plans support wider campaigns.
- Drive A/B testing of formats to refine performance strategies.
Requirements
