Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Site Technical Manager with a strong architectural background for high-rise construction.
The role focuses on engineering coordination, shop drawings, technical management, and multidisciplinary project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage shop drawing production and detailing.
- Coordinate architecture, structure, civil, interior design, and MEP disciplines.
- Review subcontractor submissions, materials, shop drawings, and technical calculations.
- Resolve technical issues on site and provide guidance to construction teams.
- Lead technical meetings, workshops, RFIs, and material approvals.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, NCC standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, QA/QC, and commercial teams.
- Monitor technical status, approvals, and as-built documentation.
Requirements
- Strong architectural background.
- Proven experience in high-rise construction projects.
- Expertise in technical coordination and shop drawing management.
- Strong knowledge of IFC drawings, authorities' regulations, and construction standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Deal Breakers
- Arabic language ability is required.
- At least 8 years of high-rise building experience in the UAE is required.
- At least 8 years of Site Technical Manager experience in the UAE is required.
- Architectural background and contractor experience are required.
Workplace
- The position is based in Dubai and involves on-site construction work.
