Role Overview
Oversee day-to-day construction and interior fit-out activities on site.
Coordinate site teams, monitor quality and progress, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction, fit-out, skilled workers, and site labor.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and fit-out drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, site management, and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress, workmanship, materials, dimensions, levels, alignment, and project schedules.
- Maintain daily site records, reports, manpower records, and material requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries, storage, tools, equipment, and material availability.
- Enforce housekeeping, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Identify construction problems and report them to the Project Manager.
- Support inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, handover, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure snagging and rectification works are completed within the required timeframe.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishing works, and site supervision.
- Ability to read construction, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of fit-out materials, installation methods, and finishing standards.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site workers.
- Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
- Computer skills including MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare daily reports and maintain site documentation.
- A diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
