Role Description
Full-time, on-site Interior Designer role supporting interior design and fit-out projects at Sterling Restaurants.
Design and enhance restaurant spaces to create distinctive, welcoming, and memorable dining environments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawings and plans for fit-out projects based on concepts and designs.
- Develop concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections.
- Prepare 2D drawings, design presentations, and 3D visualizations.
- Coordinate details for ceilings, flooring, walls, joinery, furniture, and finishes.
- Coordinate with project, site, MEP, and technical teams to implement designs.
- Ensure drawings comply with standards, project scope, and budget.
- Conduct site visits and resolve site-related design issues.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and finishes for design compliance.
- Support design and construction stages and coordinate design changes.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and landlords.
- Maintain organized project documentation.
- Maintain fire safety and LPG AMC agreements and coordinate QCD certificate renewals for restaurants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant 3D/design software.
- Understanding of construction details, materials, finishes, and fit-out practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
