About the Role
GEO Global Engineering Consultants seeks a Site Supervision Electrical Engineer in Dubai to oversee electrical works at project sites. The role involves inspecting installations, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with project teams.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect all electrical works executed by contractors on site, including LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, ELV, and low current systems
- Ensure that all electrical installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, local authority requirements, and applicable international standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality, installation methods, and compliance with approved project requirements
- Issue site observation reports, non conformance reports, and corrective action requests where electrical works do not comply with approved standards or specifications
- Coordinate with Resident Engineer, Project Manager, MEP engineers, architects, structural engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve technical and coordination issues
- Monitor contractor's progress and ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with approved project schedule
- Review and recommend approval of electrical material samples, equipment data sheets, technical catalogues, and manufacturer compliance documents
- Inspect electrical materials and equipment delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved material submittals and project specifications
- Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems, including insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, functional testing, load testing, and system integration testing
- Review testing and commissioning reports, as built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and handover documentation
- Attend project meetings, technical coordination meetings, progress meetings, and site meetings as required
- Ensure proper coordination between electrical works and other disciplines including civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and ICT systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision, preferably with an engineering consultancy firm
- Proven experience in supervising electrical works for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, educational, mixed use, high rise, or infrastructure projects
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred
- Familiarity with local authority requirements including DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality
- Knowledge of electrical design standards, regulations, and codes including IEC, BS, NFPA, IEEE, and UAE standards
- Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and testing and commissioning documentation
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures for electrical works
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications, and project documentation systems
- Strong technical, communication, coordination, reporting, and problem solving skills

Job Overview
