Site Superintendent (Utilities & Infrastructure)

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site construction activities for utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, foremen, chargehands, subcontractors and workforce to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, method statements and approved schedules.
• Coordinate the execution of underground utilities, drainage, sewerage, pipelines, earthworks, roads and associated infrastructure works.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure project activities remain on schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Consultants and subcontractors to resolve site issues and maintain productivity.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, equipment and other site resources.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, site safety procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
• Review site conditions and identify potential construction constraints, technical issues and interface conflicts.
• Coordinate work sequences and ensure proper planning of multiple activities and work fronts.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed as per approved requirements.
• Maintain effective communication between site management, engineering, planning, QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, manpower, equipment, constraints and requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues to avoid delays and rework.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, site organization and efficient use of construction resources.
• Prepare and review daily site progress reports and provide necessary information to project management.
• Ensure timely completion and successful handover of assigned works.

• Minimum 18 years of relevant construction experience.
• Mandatory: Strong experience in Utilities and Infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision/management of large-scale infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of underground utilities, drainage, sewerage, pipelines, earthworks, roads and associated civil works.
• Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project management teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, method statements and site execution procedures.
• Excellent leadership and manpower management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction quality and HSE requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience will be an advantage.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline is preferred.
• Candidates with extensive practical site experience in utilities and infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply.
