Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site, topographical, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Set out roads, earthworks, foundations, drainage, utilities, structures, and other civil works.
• Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, grid lines, levels, and control points.
• Check line, level, elevation, alignment, and dimensions of construction works.
• Conduct earthwork and excavation level checks and surveys for roads, grading, drainage, pipelines, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built records.
• Read engineering, IFC, shop, and survey drawings and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.
• Report discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and maintain accurate survey records.
• Operate and maintain Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment.
• Follow project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant civil construction or infrastructure experience is required.
• UAE/GCC experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in roads, earthworks, drainage, utilities, grading, and general civil works is required.
• Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS/GNSS is required.
• Ability to read civil engineering and construction drawings is required.
• Knowledge of coordinates, benchmarks, levels, alignment, and setting-out procedures is required.
• AutoCAD experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, communication, coordination, and independent site work are required.
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Project Experience

• Preferred project experience includes roads and highways, earthworks and grading, infrastructure development, drainage and stormwater, sewerage and utilities, excavation and backfilling, foundations and concrete works, road base and sub-base works, pipeline works, and site development.

Compensation

• The pay is AED 5,000–AED 7,599.11 per month in the job description; the structured salary field lists AED 5,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person on active construction sites in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
