Role Overview
Lead electrical construction execution for 380kV substation and BSP projects.
Coordinate site delivery, quality, safety, progress, and timely completion in line with SEC standards and project requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 12–15 years of EHV/HV substation construction experience, including 380kV substations.
- At least 5 years in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
- Proven 380kV BSP project experience and valid SEC approval are required.
- Hands-on experience with SEC projects and SEC construction standards.
- Strong knowledge of GIS, power transformers, switchgear, protection systems, cable works, and commissioning.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction activities and monitor execution, manpower, materials, equipment, and progress.
- Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with standards, drawings, specifications, procedures, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, cable works, and equipment erection.
- Monitor schedules, resolve delays, review technical documents, and manage subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate with civil, protection and control, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and procurement teams.
- Conduct inspections, close issues, support SEC approvals, and prepare progress reports.
Preferred SEC Experience
Experience on SEC-approved 380kV substation projects is preferred.
Familiarity with SEC General Specifications, SEC Safety Regulations, and SEC execution procedures is preferred.
Ability to coordinate directly with SEC project management and construction supervision teams is preferred.
