Position Overview

The Electrical Site Engineer oversees electrical installation and maintenance activities across industrial and plant projects.

The role supervises site manpower, manages consultant inspections, and ensures technical execution follows project plans and quality standards.

Mandatory Experience and Education

  • The position requires 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in industrial or plant electrical projects.
  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • A stable career history is required.

Technical Criteria

  • Hands-on experience is required with substation installation and maintenance, MV/LV transformers, and electrical panels.
  • Experience is required with MV/LV cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment systems.
  • Working proficiency is required in reading and interpreting Single Line Diagrams and electrical schematic drawings.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills are required for site execution and consultant inspector interactions.

Electrical Site Execution

  • Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MV/LV transformers, electrical panels, and substations.
  • Execute MV and LV cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment system installation.
  • Read, interpret, and implement electrical Single Line Diagrams and technical site schematics.

Coordination and Supervision

  • Coordinate directly with consultant inspectors for material and work inspections.
  • Liaise across internal departments during site execution.
  • Supervise site manpower, monitor daily progress, identify faults, and ensure optimal material usage.

Location and Work Model

  • The position is strictly on-site in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
  • Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
  • A valid UAE Driving License and active UAE Work or Residence Visa are required.
