Position Overview
Electrical Site Engineer responsible for electrical installation and maintenance activities across industrial and plant projects.
The role supervises site manpower, manages consultant inspections, and ensures execution follows project plans and quality standards.
Mandatory Criteria
- 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in industrial or plant electrical projects.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with substations, MV/LV transformers, electrical panels, cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment systems.
- Working proficiency in reading and interpreting Single Line Diagrams and electrical schematic drawings.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for site execution and consultant inspector interactions.
- Valid UAE driving license and active UAE work or residence visa.
- The role is strictly onsite in Sharjah, UAE.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MV/LV transformers, electrical panels, and substations.
- Execute MV and LV cable laying, glanding, termination, and cable containment system installation.
- Coordinate material and work inspections with consultant inspectors.
- Liaise with internal departments and supervise site manpower.
- Read and implement electrical Single Line Diagrams and technical site schematics.
- Monitor daily progress, identify faults, and ensure optimal material usage.
- Ensure technical execution follows project plans and quality standards.
