Position Overview
The Electrical Draughtsman will develop detailed electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and layout designs for engineering projects.
The role includes Lux calculations, Material BOQs, DEWA compliance, and coordination across MEP services.
Mandatory Criteria
- At least 3 years of hands-on Electrical Draughtsman experience in the UAE or Gulf region.
- Three to six years of relevant experience is specified.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Drafting is required.
- Experience with SLDs, load schedules, Lux calculations, lighting and small power layouts, and cable containment design is required.
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, DIALux, and ETAP or load calculation software is required.
- Exceptional English is required for daily technical coordination with cross-disciplinary MEP teams.
- A stable career history without excessive job-hopping is required.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and comprehensive load schedules.
- Create lighting, small power, and cable containment layouts using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Perform Lux calculations and design optimized lighting systems according to project standards.
- Interpret contract drawings and specifications and ensure deliverables comply with DEWA regulations.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary services to prevent spatial clashes.
- Prepare comprehensive Material Bills of Quantities.

- The position is based in the UAE and follows a strictly work-from-office model.
