About the Role
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Cybersecurity & Grid Automation Services Sales Manager to drive growth of OT cybersecurity and lifecycle service offerings in the Power & Energy sector.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute a sales strategy for OT Cybersecurity solutions and Grid Automation lifecycle services
- Lead sales of end to end OT cybersecurity solutions including risk assessments, network segmentation, asset visibility, and incident response
- Drive sales of Grid Automation Services covering system upgrades, retrofits, maintenance, and asset performance optimization
- Develop strong relationships with utilities, energy companies, EPCs, asset owners, and grid operators
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Prepare and deliver technical & commercial proposals and lead tendering, negotiations, and deal closure
- Collaborate with Grid Automation business development and local service delivery teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Automation Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Engineering background field
- 6–10+ years of experience in sales of power systems / Grid Automation or OT cybersecurity / industrial automation sales
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, Substation Automation systems, protection relays, RTUs, communication networks
- Familiarity with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NERC CIP
- Proven experience in complex solution selling and strategic account management in utilities/energy sector
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English

The Opportunity
- Hitachi Energy is seeking a Cybersecurity & Grid Automation Services Sales Manager to drive growth across OT cybersecurity and lifecycle service offerings within the Power & Energy sector.
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute a sales strategy for OT Cybersecurity solutions and Grid Automation lifecycle services (service agreements, modernization, remote services).
- Achieve order intake, revenue, and margin targets across utilities, renewables, and industrial energy accounts.
OT Cybersecurity Solution Selling
- Lead sales of end to end OT cybersecurity solutions, including risk and vulnerability assessments, network segmentation & secure architecture, asset visibility and monitoring, security incident response & managed services.
- Position cybersecurity as part of a defense in depth approach across control centers, communication networks, and substations.
- Advise customers on compliance with IEC 62443 and local regulatory frameworks.
Grid Automation Services Sales
- Drive sales of Hitachi Energy Grid Automation Services, covering the full lifecycle: system upgrades, retrofits, extensions, maintenance & spare parts, asset performance optimization and replacement strategies.
- Promote advanced service programs such as Encompass™ service agreements, Grid Automation Shield, and Collaborative Operations Centers.
Customer Engagement & Account Management
- Develop strong relationships with utilities, energy companies, EPCs, asset owners, and grid operators.
- Act as a trusted advisor on digital grid transformation, cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, and asset lifecycle optimization.
- Lead strategic account planning and executive engagement for key customers.
Pipeline Development & Opportunity Management
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Drive upselling of cybersecurity into installed Grid Automation base and cross selling of services alongside new system projects.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, leveraging competitive insights.
Commercial Execution
- Prepare and deliver technical & commercial proposals combining systems, software, and services.
- Lead tendering, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Protect margins through value based selling and solution differentiation.
Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with Grid Automation Business development management team for CS and Advanced Solutions and local service delivery teams.
- Ensure alignment between sales, engineering, and execution teams for successful delivery.
- Maintain compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Automation Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Engineering background field.
- 6–10+ years of experience in sales of power systems / Grid Automation or OT cybersecurity / industrial automation sales.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, Substation Automation systems, protection relays, RTUs, communication networks.
