Position Summary

  • The Service Advisor is the primary customer touchpoint, owning the end to end service experience from reception to delivery.

Customer Reception & Job Intake

  • Greet customers professionally and conduct vehicle walk around inspection.
  • Prepare detailed Repair Orders with clear job descriptions and estimates.
  • Identify additional repair requirements and recommend value added services.
  • Ensure proper documentation of customer complaints and service history.

Workshop Coordination & Job Follow Up

  • Coordinate with Workshop Supervisors and Technicians to monitor repair progress.
  • Obtain customer approval for additional repairs before work commencement.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding job progress.
  • Monitor work in progress to avoid delays.

Revenue Generation & Value Added Sales

  • Achieve monthly targets for labour sales, parts revenue, and value added products.
  • Promote menu pricing, service packages, and preventive maintenance plans.
  • Maximize service retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Support conversion of warranty, insurance, and fleet business.

Customer Experience & Retention

  • Personally hand over completed vehicles and explain work completed.
  • Conduct post service follow up calls to confirm satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate escalations.
  • Build strong customer relationships for repeat business.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate customer records and service history in DMS.
  • Follow up on credit customer payments.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM warranty policies and audit requirements.
  • Support service campaigns and recalls.

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Technical automotive certifications are an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2–5 years as a Service Advisor in a franchised automotive dealership.
  • Hands on experience managing customer pay, warranty, insurance, and fleet transactions.

Technical Skills

  • Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in DMS such as SAP, Kerridge, Autoline, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with OEM warranty portals and Electronic Parts Catalogues.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English.
