Responsibilities
- Execute daily vehicle registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, plate issuance, and de registrations across KSA branches
- Process transactions on government platforms (Absher Business, Najiz, MVPI, Tamm, Fasah, Sabir) in line with regulations and SLAs
- Coordinate vehicle inspections (MVPI), insurance binding (Tameen), and customs/clearance documentation for timely customer handover
- Maintain strong working relationships with Traffic Department, MoCI, SASO, ZATCA, insurance providers, and inspection centres
- Monitor work in progress daily to ensure registration cycle times meet KPIs and customer delivery commitments
- Ensure accurate handling of original documents, plates, and registration cards per internal custody and audit standards
- Validate all registration documentation (Istimara, invoices, insurance certificates, ownership transfer papers) for accuracy
- Capture all registration transactions accurately in SAP and Dealer Management System for real time visibility
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports on registration volumes, processing times, pending cases, and exceptions
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures for vehicle registration
Requirements
- High school certificate minimum; Diploma or Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2 4 years experience in vehicle registration, government relations, or administrative roles in automotive/leasing/rental industry in KSA
- Hands on experience with Saudi government platforms (Absher Business, Najiz, Tamm, MVPI, FASAH, Sabir)
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar Dealer Management System
- Previous experience in branch or dealership environment strongly preferred

Overview of the Role
- The Vehicle Registration Officer manages end to end registration, renewal, transfer, and de registration of vehicles across Al Futtaim Automotive’s dealership network in KSA.
- Acts as central link between retail showrooms, workshop operations, and Saudi government entities, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely customer handover.
- Works closely with Sales, Aftersales, Finance, and Senior Manager – Government Relations, impacting customer experience and delivery turnaround.
What You Will Do
- Execute and oversee daily vehicle registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, plate issuance, and de registrations across all KSA branches.
- Process transactions on government platforms including Absher Business, Najiz, MVPI, Tamm, Fasah & Sabir.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections (MVPI), insurance binding (Tameen), and customs/clearance documentation.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Traffic Department, MoCI, SASO, ZATCA, insurance providers, and inspection centres.
- Act as primary point of contact between Sales team, Branch Managers, and external government entities for registration matters.
- Monitor work in progress daily to ensure registration cycle times remain within agreed KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks in registration workflow and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate handling of original documents, plates, and registration cards per internal custody and audit standards.
- Ensure full compliance with KSA traffic regulations and Saudization requirements where applicable.
- Validate all registration documentation including Istimara, invoices, insurance certificates, and ownership transfer papers.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete, traceable records of all government transactions.
- Capture all registration transactions accurately in SAP and Dealer Management System.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of KSA vehicle registration procedures, traffic regulations, and government e services.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in Arabic and English.
- High level of attention to detail with disciplined, document driven mindset.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple registration cases concurrently under tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with maturity to interact with senior internal leaders and government officials.
- Problem solving capability to resolve registration exceptions, document discrepancies, and platform related issues.
- Customer focused mindset with full ownership of cases until vehicle handover.
- Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting.
What Qualifies You for the Role
- High school certificate minimum; Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in vehicle registration, government relations, or administrative roles in automotive/leasing/rental industry in KSA.
- Hands on experience using Saudi government platforms such as Absher Business, Najiz, Tamm, MVPI, FASAH, Sabir.
- Previous experience in branch or dealership environment strongly preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English mandatory; data entry experience in both languages essential.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar Dealer Management System.
- Saudi National candidates strongly encouraged in line with Saudization objectives.
Reporting & Systems
- Capture all registration transactions accurately in SAP and Dealer Management System.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports covering registration volumes, processing times, pending cases, and exceptions.
- Support Senior Manager – Government Relations with ad hoc analysis, regulatory updates, and process improvement initiatives.
Process Development
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of internal Standard Operating Procedures for vehicle registration.
- Stay current on regulatory changes issued by Moror, MoCI, and ZATCA, and cascade impact to relevant stakeholders.
