ARX is hiring a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer for its Riyadh office.
The role covers wet utility networks for infrastructure projects, including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TSE, and fire water systems.
The position requires at least 8 years of infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in KSA.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee wet utility systems for infrastructure projects.
- Perform and review hydraulic calculations, network modelling, pipe sizing, and related engineering analyses.
- Ensure wet utilities designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate wet utility systems with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
- Review deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of infrastructure experience focused on wet utilities.
- At least 3 years of relevant KSA experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of wet utility design and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of KSA codes, standards, and utility authority requirements.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS or similar software.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
