Role Overview
ARX is hiring a Roads Engineer for its Riyadh office.
The role focuses on roads and highway design for infrastructure projects.
The position requires at least 4 years of infrastructure-project experience and at least 1 year of KSA experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee road and highway designs for infrastructure projects.
- Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and other road-system analyses.
- Ensure road designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate road systems with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and infrastructure interfaces.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
- Review deliverables from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of infrastructure-project experience focused on roads and highways.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in KSA is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of road and highway systems, design, and construction practices.
- Strong knowledge of KSA codes, standards, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking or relevant engineering design software.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
