Role Overview
ARX is seeking a Roads Engineer for its Riyadh office.
The role focuses on road and highway design for infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee roads and highways for infrastructure projects.
- Perform and review road geometry, alignments, grading, pavement design, and related engineering analyses.
- Ensure road designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate road systems, levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interfaces with other disciplines.
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
- Review deliverables from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and liaise with authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is required.
- At least four years of infrastructure project experience focused on roads and highways is required.
- At least one year of relevant KSA experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of road and highway design and construction practices is required.
- Strong knowledge of KSA codes, standards, and authority requirements is required.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking or relevant engineering design software is required.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
