Role overview
The Senior Waiter role supports luxury hospitality service and requires knowledgeable, attentive, and professional guest interaction.
Service responsibilities
- Greet guests, discuss food and wine choices, anticipate needs, and respond appropriately to concerns.
- Set up tables, serve food and beverages, clear and clean tables, and maintain the outlet in excellent condition.
- Communicate orders and special requests to the kitchen using the point-of-sale system.
- Coordinate food timings, food pickup, and service according to company standards.
- Control food and beverage usage and use equipment, tools, and service equipment appropriately.
- Coordinate with the Culinary Team and follow service-team SOPs and SOS guidelines.
- Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.
- Perform other tasks or projects assigned by restaurant management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the luxury industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
- Knowledge of food and beverage items, ingredients, preparation methods, and proper service.
