The Senior Treasury Analyst improves the Treasury Discipline using best practices and discipline-specific knowledge.
The role acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues, solves complex problems, and supports treasury, operational, project, and service activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate bank guarantee activities between commercial and bids teams, project teams, corporate treasury, and banks.
- Review and approve bank guarantee text formats, arrange bank support letters, and coordinate guarantee issuance.
- Identify opportunities for new credit lines and support annual renewals of existing banking facilities.
- Maintain banking relationships and resolve issues involving receipts, payments, and bank guarantees.
- Prepare monthly outstanding bank guarantee listings and quarterly forecasts with project teams.
- Review petty cash reimbursement claims and monthly treasury receipt journals under company and SOX controls.
- Manage treasury SOX compliance, periodic account funding, and ad hoc treasury requirements.
- Liaise with corporate treasury, project accounting, commercial teams, banks, and the tax group.
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from an internationally recognized institute.
- Around 3–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Good understanding of banking functions and detailed experience in the treasury discipline.
- Good communication skills and ability to multitask under tight reporting schedules.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with stakeholders at all levels.
