Job Overview
The Senior Construction Tech completes varied construction assignments with limited supervision.
The role serves as an informal resource for colleagues with less construction experience.
The position provides solutions to atypical problems using established precedents or procedures and directly impacts team work quality.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Query, structure, clean, and transform engineering, procurement, and construction data for imports, exports, analytics, and reporting.
- Develop plans for project material storage, handling, transport, and FTM.
- Supervise project material bagging, tagging, and reconciliation activities.
- Lead preparation for delivery of project ship-loose items offshore.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct equipment lifecycles, including maintenance, repair, tracking, and utilization.
- Support equipment budgeting and procurement of potential new equipment.
- Establish asset lifecycle definitions and recommend replacement when needed.
- Evaluate technology upgrades for efficiency, energy improvement, maintenance cost reduction, and lifecycle improvement.
- Define cost savings and provide recommendations to management.
- Monitor compliance with asset-related procedures.
- Manage procurement, refurbishment, repairs, and quality control of in-house asset repairs.
