The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Fertilizer Trader.
The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
The position requires an established network of suppliers and buyers and a strong international commodity-trading record.
Compensation
- Salary is up to AED 25,000 per month and is negotiable based on experience and portfolio.
Key Requirements
- Candidates should have 5–10 years of experience in fertilizer or commodity trading.
- Strong sourcing and origination experience with producers or suppliers is required.
- Candidates should have a proven trading portfolio and commercial track record.
- A strong network across the GCC, CIS, China, Southeast Asia, Africa, Brazil, and Latin America is required.
- Hands-on experience with Urea, Sulphur, DAP, MAP, NPK, Rock Phosphate, Ammonium Sulphate, or related commodities is required.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, trade finance, letters of credit, contracts, logistics, and risk management is required.
- The role requires willingness to travel internationally, including across the GCC.
Responsibilities
- Source and originate fertilizer and related commodity trading opportunities.
- Manage commercial trading activities involving producers, suppliers, and buyers.
- Develop and maintain supplier and buyer relationships across international markets.
- Execute trades across fertilizer commodities and related products.
- Apply knowledge of Incoterms, trade finance, letters of credit, contracts, logistics, and risk management in transactions.
- Use an established portfolio and commercial network to support business growth.
