The Senior Test Automation Engineer performs automated verification and validation of products developed through an engineering process.
The role requires solid knowledge of test automation, programming, test environments, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
The engineer is expected to independently design and execute test automation solutions.
Automation Engineering
- Develop automation solutions and implement them across different projects.
- Create automation tool strategies and define automation approaches.
- Evaluate tools and perform technical feasibility assessments.
- Build business cases and ROI estimates for automation initiatives.
- Estimate automation effort and deliver cost or effort savings to customers.
Customer Delivery
- Implement automation solutions for customer projects.
- Work independently when required to provide consultancy services to customers.
- Stay current with developments in test automation and related techniques.
Required Expertise
- Solid technical and professional knowledge of test automation, programming, test environments, and methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience with one or more test tools and test techniques.
- Ability to independently design and execute test automation solutions.
- Ability to develop automation strategies, evaluate tools, assess feasibility, build ROI cases, and estimate effort.
- Ability to implement automation solutions across projects and provide customer consultancy.
