Job Description
The Senior Test Automation Engineer performs automated verification and validation of products developed through an engineering process.
The role requires solid technical and professional knowledge of test automation, programming, test environments, and testing methodologies.
The engineer uses one or more test tools and test techniques to independently design and execute automation solutions.
Grade-Specific Responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions and create automation tool strategies.
- Define automation approaches and evaluate suitable tools.
- Perform technical feasibility assessments for automation initiatives.
- Build business cases, calculate ROI, and estimate automation effort.
- Implement automation solutions across different projects.
- Deliver cost and effort savings to customers through automation.
- Provide consultancy services to customers independently when required.
- Stay current with the latest developments in test automation.
Requirements
- Solid technical and professional knowledge of test automation, programming, test environments, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with one or more test tools and test techniques.
- Ability to independently design and execute test automation solutions.
- Ability to develop automation approaches, evaluate tools, and perform technical feasibility assessments.
- Ability to build business cases, calculate ROI, and estimate automation effort.
- Ability to provide consultancy services to customers independently when required.
