About the Opportunity
Ericsson Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure simplifies centralized and distributed Ericsson Cloud Infrastructure operations for communication service providers.
The product supports fault, performance, logging, supervision, and lifecycle management of NFVI and CNIS deployments through a single interface.
The role focuses on software development and AI-enabled research and development in the cloud domain.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform requirement analysis, application design, software development, and test automation.
- Develop cloud-native infrastructure software for Ericsson’s 5G portfolio.
- Design and develop features and modules aligned with architecture guidelines.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted engineering integrations.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- The role requires 10 to 15 years of software development experience in network management software such as NMS, EMS, or OSS.
- Experience in telecom or networking software development is required.
- Strong Go and Python programming skills with a focus on AI-native development are required.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on cloud-native product development experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker is required.
- Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, network protocols, and open-source technologies is required.
- Experience with automation, test design, and Robot Framework is required.
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows, LLMs, machine learning models, intelligent agents, and AI-assisted engineering tools is required.
- Knowledge of Linux, scripting, virtualization, Agile, Git, GitLab, Gerrit, and JIRA is required.
