Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Finastra Fusion Loan Iq Specialist

to support implementation, integration, customization, testing, and maintenance of the Loan IQ platform within a banking environment.

The role involves working on syndicated and bilateral loan processing, Loan IQ SDK development, interface integrations, functional configurations, and support activities while ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems and enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional expertise in Loan IQ, banking operations, loan administration systems, and system integration.

1. Loan IQ Implementation & Support

  • Support implementation and enhancement of Finastra Fusion Loan IQ systems
  • Configure and maintain Loan IQ modules and functionalities
  • Troubleshoot functional and technical issues within Loan IQ environments
  • Support Loan IQ upgrades, patches, and production support activities

2. Loan IQ Development & Integration

  • Develop and maintain:
  • Inquiry Scripts
  • Scripted APIs
  • Event Triggers

• Scripted Batch Processes

  • Controller Events
  • Support integrations with:

• Core Banking Systems

  • Payment Systems
  • External interfaces
  • Develop and troubleshoot REST APIs, XML integrations, and Java-based interfaces

3. Functional & Banking Operations Support

  • Support end-to-end syndicated and bilateral loan processes including:
  • Customer setup
  • Deal & Facility creation
  • Outstanding processing
  • Portfolio management
  • Secondary sales
  • Payments & fee processing
  • Trade ticket entry
  • Collateral management
  • Repayment schedules
  • Support RFR functionality and MX payment processing

4. Database & Technical Support

  • Manage Oracle database-related activities including:
  • Stored procedures
  • Packages
  • SQL queries
  • Support batch accounting and online accounting entries
  • Monitor nightly batch jobs and troubleshoot failures

5. Business Analysis & Testing

  • Review and analyze:

• Business Requirement Specifications (BRS)

  • Functional specifications
  • Prepare:
  • Test cases
  • SIT/UAT scenarios
  • Regression testing plans
  • Perform defect lifecycle management and status reporting
  • Coordinate with vendors and business users during testing and issue resolution

6. Documentation & Training

  • Prepare:
  • User documentation
  • Operational procedures
  • Training materials
  • Technical specifications
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and user support sessions

7. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Banking security standards
  • Data protection policies
  • Internal governance requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of banking and customer data

Functional Banking Knowledge

  • Syndicated Loans
  • Bilateral Loans
  • Loan Administration

• Payments & Accruals

  • Fee Processing
  • Portfolio Management
  • Trade Finance / Treasury exposure preferred

Testing & Analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Engineering
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Loan IQ implementation/support experience
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience within banking environments
  • Experience in corporate banking or loan administration systems preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Arabic language skills preferred
  • Experience with core banking integrations
  • Exposure to banking regulatory environments
