Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
- Analyze current business processes and create As Is and To Be process models
- Develop BPMN diagrams, process flows, workflow diagrams, and swimlane diagrams
- Perform data mapping, data analysis, and impact assessments
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA engineers, and business users throughout the SDLC
- Define test scenarios and business acceptance criteria, support SIT and UAT
- Prepare executive reports, business cases, impact assessments, and solution documentation
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst
- Experience working on enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and systems analysis
- Experience working with cross functional business and technology teams
- Hands on experience supporting software delivery across the SDLC

About the Role
- We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Business System Analyst to join our team in Qatar.
- The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into effective technology solutions.
- You will play a key role throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), supporting business process improvement, system analysis, requirements management, solution design, testing, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
- Validate and prioritize business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create As Is and To Be process models.
- Develop BPMN diagrams, process flows, workflow diagrams, and swimlane diagrams.
- Perform business process re engineering and process optimization initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed solutions.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Document system interfaces, API integrations, middleware interactions, and data flows.
Mandatory Skills
- Business Analysis: Requirements Engineering, BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, Functional Specifications
- Business Process Modeling: BPMN, Swimlane Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, As Is / To Be Process Analysis, Business Process Re engineering
- Methodologies: Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, SDLC
- Stakeholder Management: Requirement Workshops, Stakeholder Engagement, Requirement Elicitation, Requirement Prioritization, Communication & Facilitation
- Data Analysis: Data Analysis, Gap Analysis, Data Mapping, Impact Analysis, Business Rules Documentation
- Systems Analysis: API Documentation, Middleware Integration, System Interfaces, Data Flow Documentation, Integration Analysis
- Testing: User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Test Scenario Preparation, Acceptance Criteria Definition, Functional Validation
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
- Experience working on enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and systems analysis.
- Experience working with cross functional business and technology teams.
- Hands on experience supporting software delivery across the SDLC.
