Role Overview
A client in the UAE is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for technical architectural coordination and contracting work.
High-rise building experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical architectural support across all project stages.
- Review and coordinate IFC, TQ, PTC, and contract documents.
- Manage subcontractor shop drawings and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and Green Building code.
- Coordinate architecture, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Resolve design and technical issues before construction.
- Lead and manage architects, engineers, and draftsmen.
- Coordinate engineering works with subcontractors.
- Maintain shop drawing registers and material submittal logs.
- Support QS and commercial teams with design changes and variations.
- Ensure contractual compliance and technical coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of contracting experience.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- High-rise building experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and Green Building requirements.
- Proven experience with shop drawings and material submittals.
- Strong coordination and contractual management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of BIM or Revit is required.
- Technical and architectural experience with contractor experience is mandatory.
- Arabic language ability is required.
