About the Role
Transguard Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Systems Officer for a prestigious client in Dubai. The role involves installing and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, administering Active Directory, managing backups, and supporting virtualization and network performance.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and basic Linux systems
- Administer Active Directory services including user accounts, group management, and access control
- Monitor backup operations and ensure successful completion of backup jobs
- Perform data restoration tasks and validate backup integrity
- Assist in managing virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper V) under supervision
- Support storage systems and basic file server management
- Monitor network performance and connectivity and resolve LAN/WAN and Wi Fi issues
- Monitor system performance, logs, and security events and report suspicious activities to Information Security Team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in IT systems and infrastructure
